Commercial rent arrears, also known as CRAR
Our statutory powers allow us to take control of goods belonging to commercial tenants for unpaid rent. If the rent amount remains unpaid, after the initial notice has been provided by us, we can then remove goods and sell them at public auction and offset the net sales proceeds against the amount owed. In most cases our vast experience and highly trained staff would seek to gain full payment for the amount outstanding to ensure the client recoups their outstanding debt. In other situations a short term plan could be put in place in order for them to pay. A benefit to this process is, the tenant would be liable for the fees accrued by our action taken.
