EVICTION SERVICES

Under common law every landowner has the right to remove trespassers from their land using reasonable force if required. This right can be delegated to the landowners agent.

GRC Bailiffs offer a service removing unauthorised occupiers/travellers from land owned by their clients, without the expense and delay of having to go through the court system.

Currently retained by property developers, insurance companies, landlords, local and national government, private and public limited companies and others we provide an unrivalled service to our clients in the eviction of illegal occupiers and travellers from unauthorised sites throughout England and Wales.

The main advantage of using common law eviction is the speed with which evictions can be carried out: Thereby lessening:

  • The amount of damage caused to land and buildings
  • The amount of fly tipping and waste left behind thus reducing clear up costs
  • Opportunity for theft from premises
  • Security costs

The advantages of using GRC Bailiffs include:

  • Experience - GRC have been carrying out common law evictions since 1989
  • Speed - GRC normally act within hours of being instructed and often complete the eviction the same day. Most evictions completed within 24 hours or less
  • Reliability - GRC use only our own staff to carry out and oversee the whole eviction process - We use our own recovery and towing vehicles
  • Assurance - Full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
  • Cost – Clear pricing structure, typically cheaper than or comparable with court proceedings.
  • CoverageGRC cover the whole of England and Wales using our own staff NOT local agents

Totally lawful method as acknowledged by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in the official “Guidance on Managing Unauthorised Encampments”

The same common law powers apply equally to commercial premises where entry can be gained without contravening Section 6 of the Criminal Law Act 1977
